It’s been a long time since I have been awake this early without needing to be at work, so after fiddling with Noah’s microwave for about ten minutes trying to heat up some who knows how old coffee, I am sitting on the porch and enjoying the wonderful weather. August has become my new favorite month. It has been raining so much, and getting much much colder. But the weather still proves that Colorado hasn’t entered its nine months of winter quite yet. I have to enjoy this leisurely porch time while I can.
I’ve been crazy busy with my band (Be Thou My Vision.) I enjoy the company of those boys so much, I’m very lucky. We are playing shows non-stop, and welcoming all kinds of musicians to play music with us depending on who’s coming through town. This last show we had Josh’s friend Michael from Dallas open and Josh and Jake’s friend Jesse from California play the whole show with us. It was fun and erupted into an epic dance party afterwards with DJ Juice Box (Tall Cities Christopher.) We’re playing two shows with LeftMore this week, which I am very excited for. We are trying to play their entire Winter Tour with them, which would be amazing. So everything has been good on the music front. Other than working and that I have been trying to spend time with all of the good friends that I have who are leaving. Although it’s nice to have friends all over the country, it’s impossible for me to take trips to see all of you. So good job guys. Thanks. So hello! I’m not full of fun things to say at the moments besides I miss everyone, and hope that all is well.
